We invite you to join us in-person each Sunday at 9:30am for a meaningful and memorable worship experience! We have Sunday School for both children and youth during worship following the Message for Young Disciples each week.
If you can't join us in-person, we invite you to join us on Zoom at 9:30am or on our YouTube channel the day after worship to access a recording of service. We hope to see you soon!
Montville UMC is a loving, inclusive, integrity-filled, and supportive church that offers hope and purpose to all people.
FAITH IN ACTION
Jesus came to serve not to be served and he encouraged his followers to do likewise.
So it's important for us to put our faith into action by recognizing and addressing the needs of our local and global community. We have opportunities to participate in a number of mission activities and you're welcome to jump in and get your hands dirty or financially support them from the comfort of your home.

Thrift Store
Located on the second floor of our education building, this thrift store is supported by volunteers and donations of clothing and household items. Seasonal sales are widely advertised and immediate needs can be addressed by contacting the pastor. Surplus donations are given to other organizations like CUMAC.
nourish.NJ & St. Albert's
Every 5th Friday, we deliver breakfast bags to those in need in Morris County through nourish.NJ.
And every Christmas, we bless the residents of St. Alberts with gifts.
Montville Kiwanis Food Pantry
Throughout the year, we volunteer and collect food for the Kiwanis Food Pantry, at 91 Passaic Valley Rd, Montville, NJ, by collecting non-perishable food. The pantry is open on Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm and Saturdays 10am - 12 pm. For further information please, reach out by phone at 973-400-9222 or email at KiwanisofMontville@gmail.com.
Hazel Project Mission
One Saturday a month, we host The Hazel Project, a local nonprofit doing great work for the community, who uses our space to hold organizing events for items that are given to those in need. To sign up for the next packing event, email Neil at neil.sullivan@thehazelprojecthr.org.
Community Engagement
Every year, we host various events for the community, whether it be a Trunk or Treat, a Christmas or Easter Puppet Show, or being a stop for the Towaco Shop Hop, among other things. We strive to be a bright light to our community and seek to create a positive impact in whatever ways we can as we serve God and love others together.
Interfaith Initiatives
The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, we enjoy worshiping with various faith communities in an annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service.

We are also well connected with Peace Islands Institute and have hosted an Interfaith Iftar Dinner during each season of Ramadan where we share from our Christian perspective while also hearing from the perspective of those who are Muslim.
